Ever find something or have things just go perfectly and almost feel like yelling out ‘Bingo! That’s what I was looking for!’

Well, when the Renault Twingo Mk. 1 was released in 1992, that’s what 2240 people were thinking when they signed reservation forms for the cheerful little city car. Clever and economical engineering and bold, friendly styling meant that scores of Twingos found loving homes during its long production run from 1993 until 2007 (2012 in Colombia!).

Bingo is also what I imagine the Twingo’s project leader (Patrick Le Quément), exterior designer (Jean-Pierre Ploué) and interior designer (Gérard Gauvbry) also thought then the W60 / X-06 Projects finally came to fruition and the plan for the car was finally solidified - they knew it would be a hit, going against the grain of conventional small cars at the time...and it was!

Definitely a little game-changer AND game-winner! :D

I like the graphic design on this one. It's very well laid out, but, well, pardon my French, but I don't quite "get it."

P laying bingo, the number gets called, they have a full row, but they shout Twingoooooo! Instead on Bingo

What Sony said, it’s a bingo game hall reference! :P

In real bingo, they’d usually say what row a number is under, i.e. “Under the ‘B’” (or I, N, G or O) and then say the number....in my case, the ‘number called’ in the design (W60) is a reference to the Twingo’s original Development Project code-name. (Info on the Twingo’s design history here: https://www.carbodydesign.com/archive/2007/03/21-renault-twingo-i-design-history/ ) And Twingo rhymes with Bingo, hence the terrible pun :P

I like the gauge clusters but I think the l ettering detracts, id pick up a Hoody if you could take the letting out

Hmmm, dually noted! I can easily take the lettering out as I kept all the original SVG files....maybe I should upload them all without the lettering as well...

EDIT - I’ll work on adding non-text versions of all my gauge ones this evening....I’m just enjoying some Netflix, so I’ll play around with that while I watch!
